New Zealand Warriors Coach Andrew McFadden has slammed Konrad Hurrell, Dominique Peyroux and Manu Vatuvei for attending a show by American R&B artist Ginuwine.  The concert was on Friday night, with Hurrell and Peyroux scheduled to fly out early Saturday morning to Sydney for their clash against the Wests Tigers.

Is this acceptable behaviour?

“While this is at the lower end on a scale of one to 10, it’s still not acceptable in terms of the standards we demand and expect of professional players,” said McFadden.

“We have dealt with this internally after questioning all three players. They have all apologised and clearly understand they didn’t make a good decision.”

“Konrad and Dom had an early flight out the next morning and one of the things we preach in terms of our preparation is that we get enough sleep, hydration and that we eat properly,” he said.
