Fifita Brothers Cleared to Play Against Bulldogs

Fifita brothers, Andrew and David have been cleared to take on the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs this afternoon despite allegations against them at a junior Rugby League match at Penrith.

The allegations will be further investigated with Cronulla Sharks CEO Lyall Gorman saying “If the allegations are proven to be correct, we have a zero tolerance to any behaviour that attacks the role of referees at any level of the game.”

Should the Fifita brothers be allowed to play this afternoon?

“The allegations are a great concern,” Gorman said.

“There is no doubt our players have acted very inappropriately in letting themselves down, their teammates down, letting our club down and more importantly the whole game of rugby league.

“There no doubt that some foul language was directed towards the match official.

“I’ve been emailed a copy of the referees report this morning.
